Managing Director- Pula RE
Founding Managing Director role to lead strategy, operations and growth of Pula Re, a newly formed reinsurance company. The role sits at the head of Pula Re and focuses on building the organisation, partnerships, compliance and underwriting capabilities.
What you'll do
- Define and deliver a 3-year strategic business plan and KPIs
- Lead and manage the Pula Re senior management team
- Establish licensing, rating, regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Set up underwriting, claims and risk management processes
- Build relationships with regulators, rating agencies and clients

- Experience with reinsurance in African and Asian markets
- Strong understanding of reinsurance operations and retrocession
- Minimum 15 years relevant insurance or reinsurance experience
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
